Located at VivoCity. A very accessible and popular shopping mall. With the Pokemon craze, it is even more crowded recently. There are so many people crowding around to catching the pokemon monsters. It is definitely one of the favourite haunt for Pokemon Game Lovers.
Ambience
We went for an early dinner and they already look quite crowded. Amazing ambience with elegant black and gold theme decor! Their tall glass windows allows the natural light to lit up the place. It also make it look even more spacious.
Service
We were swiftly lead to our table. I thought it was also thoughtful that they provide a guide on how to enjoy their Specialty Dynasty Xiao Long Bao (8 Flavours). This is so useful! You won’t need to fret over which dumpling to try first.
Food
Specialty Dynasty Xiao Long Bao (8 Flavours) ~ S$14.80
In addition to the original Xiao Long Bao, Their xiao long bao comes in creative and innovative flavours like crab roe, cheese, garlic, herbal, ma la, foie gras and black truffle. So Exquisite and so photogenic! My favourite is still the original flavour. However, it is always nice to have a change and try different kind of flavours.
Braised Tofu and Sliced Pork with Mixed Mushrooms in Spicy Sauce ~ S$12.80
The sliced pork is tender. I guess I am not used to the spicy sauce for this type of dishes. Perhaps it would be appreciated more by spicy lovers.
Shanghai Fried Rice ~ S$11.80
I have never tried Shanghai Fried Rice. Not sure how it should taste like. However, I like their version as it is moist and flavourful. They are also quite generous with the number of prawns. The prawns are also fresh, succulent and juicy.
Water Chestnut (Chilled) ~ S$2.80
Nice and Refreshing Cooling Water Chestnut to quench thirst and beat the heat!
