Located at our beautiful boat quay. A great place for dinner and drinks especially for the office warriors to chill after a long day at work. We tried 2 different omakase sets (Shogun – $128++, Samurai – $48++), .
Comparing with the Shogun omakase set, the Samurai set has similar dishes but fewer dishes. So if you prefer lighter meal, you can consider getting the Samurai set instead. For the $128++Shogun Omakase set, we tried the following:
- 3 kinds Zensai (deep-fried octopus, shishamo mentai and prawn salad)
- 7 kinds Fish Carpaccio
- Lobster Chawanmushi
- Age nori Hotate with Avocado
- Japanese A5 Wagyu Tataki
- Whole Abalone with Teriyaki sauce
- Alaskan King Crab Leg Mentaiko
- 3 kinds Assorted Premium Sushi with Hana Maki (otoro, uni & caviar)
- Asari Miso Soup
- Japanese Ice cream (black sesame/ matcha)
Our highlights include premium sashimi such as Otoro (fatty tuna) and Ama Ebi (sweet prawn), A5 Wagyu, Tempura Moriwase (mixed Tempura), Buta Kakuni (stewed pork belly), Ebi Mentai (Prawn), Tomato Bacon, Yaki Tofu and more. I love the sashimi. It is so fresh! The presentation of the dishes is impressive too.
There are also creative dishes like Age nori Hotate with Avocado. Not forgetting the Alaskan King Crab Leg Mentaiko and Ebi Mentai. So flavourful with hints of smokiness. The matcha and black sesame ice cream is a lovely ending to a wonderful meal.
Cheers! They have great variety of drinks too! They also offer sake pairing. My favourite is the Yuzu sake. Very refreshing!
